APPLICATIONS OPEN: CITY OF LONDON CORPORATION BUSINESS RECOVERY FUND – UPDATE FROM SIR MICHAEL SYNDER
I am pleased to announce that the City of London Corporation has approved the proposal for financial grants and assistance for small retail and hospitality businesses in the City made by your elected Members ( Sir Roger Gifford, Alex Barr, Tracey Graham and me).
I have attached the details of the scheme.
We hope that this will be of real and practical help to relevant businesses and ensure that we return to something nearer to normal in the City as soon as possible and enable the survival, with the essential help of landlords, as we emerge from the pandemic.

Whilst there is necessarily some procedure to access this help, the City’s officers are happy to help wherever they can, indeed that is the brief they have been given by your Members. Whilst, for legal reasons, we are unable to be involved in individual assessments and awards, we will do our very best, if needed, to help guide you through this process.
With best wishes,
Sir Michael Snyder
Deputy for the Ward of Cordwainer
